There is no other venue like Maraetai Beach Boating club for a Wedding over Water. We offer an affordable and unique wedding venue with a gorgeous outlook situated over the water with uninterrupted views across to Waiheke and Ponui Islands.
The venue is adjacent to the club boat ramps offering the only local venue where the bridal party can arrive by water. Or if you prefer, arrive by wheels with reserved parking available for the bridal party.
Our reception venue is a spacious room featuring a high ceiling with exposed beams and lined with native timbers, ideal for a feature chandelier. You can decorate the venue yourself to suit your individual tastes or we can put you in touch with a stylist team. The venue is licenced and provides full bar facilities with seating up to 120. Our experienced caterers can provide catering packages customised to meet your budget, dietary and cultural requirements.
The downstairs deck area hangs above the water, and the provided bridal arch is a perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony. And just a stone’s throw away is Maraetai Beach, Wharf and Reserve all providing ideal locations for those special photo opportunities.
Our dedicated team are committed to making sure your special day is easy and memorable. View our clubrooms and you will be amazed at our stunning location. Our venue could be just what you are looking for. Our upstairs lounge comfortably seats approx. 120 guests with space to set up your function according to your requirements, whether it be a Conference, Wedding, Larger scale event with seating. Downstairs Bar gives you the option of a more casual event space with Bar leaners outside deck. We can ensure your event is a success with our friendly hospitality and nautical ambience.
