Located on Auckland’s Pohutukawa Coast, Maraetai Beach Boating Club boasts breathtaking beach, harbour and island views over the stunning Hauraki Gulf. Here, our members and their guests come together to enjoy good quality food and drink in our character filled pavillion. From intimate weddings and milestone birthdays to business conferences and baby showers, our two-story venue adapts to your needs. Each floor offers its own character, giving you the flexibility to create the perfect atmosphere for your celebration.

Our Spaces
UPSTAIRS PAVILLION
With its high ceilings and exposed beams, the Upstairs Pavilion exudes arustic charm, complemented by the use of native timbers that line the interior. Home to the Club restaurant, Caviar Kitchen, the space boasts an unparalleled 180-degree view of the water, providing a breathtaking backdrop both indoors and from the exclusive-use deck.
This spacious floor can accommodate up to 120 guests, with its own bar and bathroom facilities and can be accessed by stairs or a lift for added convenience. Additionally, the carpet can be removed to reveal a beautiful timber dancefloor.
DOWNSTAIRS BAR
Our Downstairs Bar is the perfect spot for both relaxation and entertainment. Featuring a pool table and dart board for friendly competition, and a huge projector screen to catch the game or view a photo slideshow. The large deck extends the space outdoors, offering fantastic sea views, while the fully stocked bar ensures that everyone’s drink of choice is just a reach away.

Ask about catering for your event. Depending on your requirements, our experienced caterers can cater to any tastes and are highly recommended.
Please note we require a minimum of 6 weeks notice to arrange a special liquor license for non-members.
